Four Men Jailed After Violent Eastchurch Attack

An assault, which happened in front of terrified families at a caravan park in Eastchurch last summer, has led to four men being handed jail terms.

Jason Taylor Snr, Oliver Taylor, Carl Allam and Jason Taylor Jnr were all jailed for the violent incident which resulted in the victim being punched and knocked unconscious before the group fled.

The victim was attacked during the day at a caravan park in Warden Road on Wednesday 16th June 2020 by Jason Taylor Jnr, aged 26 and of Mountview in Borden.

Armed Burglars Jailed For Sittingbourne Attack

An armed gang who viciously attacked two men during a burglary in Sittingbourne have been jailed for a total of more than 30 years.

One of the victims was threatened with a knife, beaten with a baseball bat and hit by a pellet from a BB gun during the incident at a house in Cortland Close on Tuesday 24th November 2015.

Two of the offenders jumped out of an upstairs window upon police arrival but were arrested shortly afterwards, as were their two accomplices.

A teenager who injured two people attending a birthday party in Sittingbourne has been jailed for more than six years.

Billy Lee, aged 18 and of Quinton Roa in Sittingbourne, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court last Wednesday (14th October) to serve a total of six years, three months and two weeks in a young offenders' institute after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm and being found guilty of actual bodily harm.

SKLR Light Railway's 'Devastating' Arson Attack

Kent Police have confirmed that they are investigating a "suspicious" blaze at the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway (SKLR) last night (Saturday 28th June).

The Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS) were called at 9.45pm by a concerned member of the public who reported seeing flames at the site. Appliances were sent from both Sittingbourne and Teynham Fire Stations with firefighters describing the portable building as being "well alight" by the time they arrived.

Murder Appeal Following Attack In Warden

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a man's body, by a dog walker, at 6.00am yesterday morning (Wednesday 7th August), on the Isle of Sheppey.

Officers were called to Warden Bay Road, in Leysdown, to a private beach between the Little Groves caravan site and Isle of Sheppey Holiday Village.
