M2 'Urgent Repair' Works This Weekend

Drivers are facing possible delays this weekend as the coastbound carriageway of the M2 is closed for "urgent repairs".

Highways England will be undertaking waterproofing, resurfacing and repair works to the Stockbury viaduct, meaning the coastbound carriageway of the M2 will be shut all weekend.

Coastbound traffic will be diverted off the M2 at junction five, then onto the southbound A249 before joining the coastbound M20 at junction seven and then through until junction nine to join the A251 and then back to junction 6 of the M2.
