Injured Pedestrian Airlifted To London Hospital

A person has been airlifted to a London hospital following an incident earlier this morning (19th September) at around 8.10am on the Avenue of Remembrance, close to Borden Grammar School.

Emergency services were called to the scene along with the Kent Air Ambulance, which subsequently carried the person to Kings College Hospital in London.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are fully known currently and are being investigated by Kent Police.

Collapsed Man Airlifted From Leisure Centre

A man in his forties collapsed and was resuscitated by staff in the gym at The Swallows Leisure Centre earlier today (Tuesday 5th April).

The Kent Air Ambulance was called shortly after paramedics arrived and landed the Borden Grammar Playing Field opposite.The man was flown to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, shortly after being stabilised onsite at about 10.30am.
