Here are the results in the Local Elections on Thursday 4th May 2023  for Sittingbourne Borough Wards.

Across the borough only 30,599 people, out of a possible 110,088, voters turned up to vote – amounting to just 22% of the elctorate.

SWALE EAST:
Turnout: 42.5%

RICH LEHMANN (Green): 3,067
CHARLOTTE WHITNEY-BROWN (Conservative): 2,443
FRANCES REHAL (Labour): 420

SWALE WEST:
Turnout: 31.9%

MIKE BALDOCK (Swale Independents): 3,018
MIKE WHITING (Conservative): 2,367

A-Level Results Day In Sittingbourne

Hundreds of sixth form students from Borden Grammar, Fulston Manor, Highsted, Sittingbourne Community College and Westlands picked up their A Level results earlier today.

Nationally a record numbers of university places have been offered this year - with A-level results showing a marginal fall in top grades for the fifth successive year. Nationally the proportion of A* and A grades was 25.8%, down by 0.1% on last year but the pass rate of 98.1% remained the same. The UCAS admissions service said that 424,000 places had been offered, which is up by 3% on results day last year.
