ETwo more goals from the ageless Derek Asamoah helped Sittingbourne to record a comfortable three-nil win on Tuesday (17th March) night at the Stanmore Stadium in Thamesmead - that could be heard at both ends of the table. 

For whilst the three points takes the Brickies three points inside the Play Off places, for hosts Erith Town, the defeat – alongside Hassocks win at Broadbridge Heath – leaves the Dockers anxiously glancing over their shoulders at the wrong end of the table. 

Sittingbourne FC, in conjunction with Gillingham FC, are aiming to run a football academy next season and expressions of interest are now being accepted for those who wish to pursue post 16 studies (Year 11's this term) with a speciality of football.
