A first half penalty from James Queree denied Sittingbourne their tenth win in eleven games under boss Reece Prestedge on Saturday (17th January) afternoon, as Jersey Bulls yet again the two sides shared the points in a 1-1 draw.  

The hosts were deservedly ahead through Darren Foxley’s strike but after Brickies keeper Jamie Grosshart mis controlled a back pass and brought down Lorne Bickley, perhaps against the run of play, Queree levelled the scores.   

Sittingbourne FC, in conjunction with Gillingham FC, are aiming to run a football academy next season and expressions of interest are now being accepted for those who wish to pursue post 16 studies (Year 11's this term) with a speciality of football.
