Seventeen people have been arrested and six charged as part of an ongoing investigation into firearms and drug offences across Kent.
During the evening of Tuesday (31st March) officers carried out a planned operation which saw 11 people arrested across Swanscombe, Sittingbourne, Dartford and Canterbury.
On Wednesday (1st April) officers arrested six more people across Swanscombe and Greenhithe.
Of those arrested, six have since been charged with firearms offences and will appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (4th April). Those charged are:
- Shane Treeby, 27, of Pinewood Drive, Chatham
- Hannah Strong, 33, of Lansdowne Square, Northfleet
- Peter McGregor, 66, of Kirby Road, Dartford
- Harry Milson, 23, of Stanley Road, Swanscombe
- Daniel Reeves, 37, of Lansdowne Square, Northfleet
- Harrison Holmes, 21, of Tooley Street, Northfleet.
Harrison Holmes has additionally been charged with selling a firearm to a person without a valid certificate, possession of a bladed article and possession of cocaine.
Hannah Strong and Daniel Reeves have also been charged with supplying cocaine. Officers have also charged Peter McGregor with possession with intent to supply cocaine.
A 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and three men aged 23, 26 and 56, who were each arrested on the evening of Tuesday (31st March) have all been released on bail until various dates in June.
Six men aged 19, 23, 24, 27, 32 and 46 years old who were each arrested on Wednesday (1st April) remain in custody whilst police enquires continue.
