Four Arrested In Whitstable Murder Investigation

Four arrests have been made locally as officers continue to investigate the death of a man in Whitstable.

Kent Police attended an address in Sittingbourne during the Wednesday (8th April) evening, where two women aged 22 and 24, and a 26 year old man were all arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A 21 year old man from Sittingbourne was also arrested on suspicion of the same offence on Sunday (5th April). They have all since been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives made the arrests after officers were called at 2.04am last Friday (3rd April) to reports of a serious assault in Belmont Road, Whitstable.

Patrols and paramedics attended the scene, where a 19 year old man was found with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene. It is believed that he was known to the offenders.

Detectives would like to locate Kieron Barnes and Tobias Agbaje (pictured), as they may have information which could assist enquiries.

They are believed to have links to Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury, Sittingbourne, Ramsgate and London.
