Fun Charity Dog Show at Macknade

Macknade is making the most of the Mayday Bank Holiday long weekend with a fun charity dog show in aid of Happy Endings Rescue - a local charity caring for animals who have been abandoned or neglected. Attendees can enter their pooches in one of the following categories via the Macknade website: • Waggiest Tail • Junior Handler • Mirror Image (Dog that looks most like its owner!) • Golden Oldie (Dog over 8 years old!) and • Best Costume. Entries are just £2, with the option of to make an additional donation on the day with all proceeds go to Happy Endings Rescue. There will be free kids activities to keep the little ones occupied, food from Macknade’s resident street food traders, and various doggy themed stalls, offering everything from toys and treats, to free dental check-ups for your four-legged friends.
