Women's Safety Workshop

Swale Borough Councils Community Safety Unit have partnered with COBRA Defence to deliver an in-person Women’s Safety workshop for Girls and Women across the Borough. Due to a spate of recent awful events females are becoming more and more worried about their personal safety and travelling alone. 
 
The workshop will give you FREE advice and training covering the following and more; 
* Safety strategies and tactics on travelling alone
* How to deal with unwanted encounters / situations 
* What to do if you feel you are being followed
* Physical techniques to escape grabs and holds - easy to learn and remember
* Places of safety 
 
The workshop will also cover a short anti vehicle abduction section, teaching you strategies and techniques to keep safe. Spaces must be booked in advance by contacting: donnaseager@swale.gov.uk . The workshop is for all women over the age of 13 years. (all 13-16 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult).
