They Shall Grow Not Old - WW1 Exhibition and publication

Held at Lynsted Church, 'They Shall Not Grow Old' marks the end of the Lynsted with Kingsdown Society's 8 year project to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

The free event includes a timeline of the war and its effects on the parish, access to the stories of local casualities, three short films courtesy of the Imperial War Museum highlighting the role of women during the conflict and other war-related footage.

Refreshments will be available and will include cakes and biscuits from recipes popular during WW1.
