Sittingbourne’s Wassail Celebration

Everyone is invited to sing, dance and drink at Sittingbourne's Wassail celebration at Lakeview Village Hall. Swale Borough Council, Kent Wildlife Trust, Swale in Bloom and Sittingbourne in Bloom are putting on the free event to celebrate the creation of the new community orchard at Lakeview Village Hall and to invite a fruitful year ahead. There will be a FREE lunch between 1 and 2pm plus pruning, pencil making along with mapping and pressing workshops for families and all ages. The Wassail, a cheery ceremony will mulled drinks, cake, hot apple fritters and song will be from 4.30pm. Take along your torches, check the weather and wear appropriate clothing. Please note ALL children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. FREE event.
