Set in southern Spain in 1920s, Blancanieves is a tribute to silent films and the story of Snow White. Director Pablo Berger calls it a "love letter to European silent cinema." Once upon a time there was a little girl who had never known her mother. She learned the art of her father, a famous bullfighter, but was hated by her evil stepmother. One day she ran away with a troupe of dwarves, and became a legend. The film runs for 1 hour 44 minutes and stars Maribel Verdu. Emilio Gavira and Daniel Gimenez Cacho. Tickets are priced £4.50 each and can be purchased online at: avenuetheatre.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01795 47 11 40.
