Minster Village Fair

A great community event to celebrate the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Enjoy everything you would expect from a 'Village Fair' in the grounds of the Grade I listed Minster Abbey (which is a Saxon building and dates back to 670 AD). With stalls, games, The Heritage micropub, refreshments and hot food with real beefburgers from a local butcher cooked by the 7th Sheppey Scout Group. This year they are planning to have a teddy bear Zip wire from the roof of the Gatehouse. The Gatehouse museum will also be open for visitors. Jointly organised by the Abbey, the adjacent Gatehouse Museum and Minster Parish Council.
