Description
Artist Patrick Walls is making a sculpture for Milton Creek Country Park this summer for Creative Estuary and Ideas Test's co-commission. Patrick would like to meet you if you’re someone who uses and loves the park. In this session you’ll design and carve your own limestone block. You can also chat to him about the project and what you love about Milton Creek including the nature and wildlife and the local history of the area. The blocks you make will be shown at a local Ideas Test exhibition (dates TBC) and you could also be part of the stone bench that Pat is making as a permanent landmark at the park. Families are welcome although carving can only be done by children over 10 with adult supervision. All materials and safety equipment will be provided. This workshop is part of Creative Estuary and Ideas Test’s co-commission to create a piece of public art at Milton Creek Country Park and more information about the project can be found here: https://www.creativeestuary.com/.../milton-creek-country.../
