Lights for Love: Highsted Grammar School

Every year, just before Christmas the Wisdom Hospice Lights for Love Appeal provides a wonderful opportunity to come together and remember loved ones. It’s a chance to reflect and celebrate time spent together, leave a dedication to your loved one and make a donation to support the hospice. The events focus on remembrance, with readings, hymns, carols and refreshments afterwards. Christmas trees will be illuminated by hundreds of tiny white lights at three separate venues. Each light will symbolise the love for someone special, and stars will be available that can be personalised and hung on the trees. Many people come because they were supported by care from The Wisdom Hospice, but you don’t need to have any connection to the hospice to attend. Everyone, of any age, is welcome to join in.
