A History of East Street, Sittingbourne

The Sittingbourne Heritage Society and The Historical Research Group of Sittingourne present Helen Allinson. Helen will talk about East Street, Sittingbourne as it was in the past. The talk will take in the alms houses, the inns, the coachbuilders, the Wesleyan School, the chapel and the shops. We will hear the stories of some of the families who made up the lively community there. Entrance £3 to non-members, £1 to members (unless pre-paid). Proof of membership required.
