"Life In The Milton Union Workhouse" Talk

Join The Borden Heritage Group for an illustrated talk with Helen Allinson detailing the introduction of union workhouses in 1835. Helen will be highlighting all aspects from the design of the buildings through to the discipline imposed, the monotonous diet and how the regime changed over the years.
