Description
This month's Historical Research Group of Sittingbourne talk is on ‘Kemsley Mill’ with Clare Marshall. Clare will share her research into Kemsley Paper Mill, which was opened a hundred years ago as part of the Lloyds Paper Mill and was the largest paper mill in the world! It was also the largest employer in Sittingbourne, and Kemsley Village was created at the same time to provide homes for the workers. This will be live at the Avenue Theatre, Sittingbourne, as well as via ZOOM. Cost is £3 per person and ZOOM can be booked online at: hrgs.co.uk
