SKLR Work Weekend

The Sittingbourne And Kemsley Light Railway need your help to maintain and repair everything at the Railway from the track to the buildings, the gardens to the locomotives and carriages, so have planned a number of Work Weekends where locals are encouraged to participate. They start at 10am and finish at about 4pm. If you can help please email info@sklr.net. You should take your own lunch (especially if working at Kemsley Down), dress in layers of clothes, particularly if it is cold outside, wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or ruined and wear safety work boots or shoes if possible. If you have a certain ‘trade’ please advise them beforehand, as they can then allocate appropriate work for you.
