Local Short Films Screening

Action Plus Media present a Local Filmmaker Spotlight – with a FREE screening of'The Rig' & 'Ill Fares The Land'. These two short films were made by former Borden Grammar School pupils and friends, Ryan Burns ('The Rig') and Patrick Ireland ('Ill Fares The Land'). Tragically, Ryan, a Sittingbourne local, passed away earlier this year. The Rig was his 2013 graduation short film from the University for the Creative Arts Farnham. Patrick, who now works as a TV Director & Producer for ITV, won the Young Filmmaker's Award at the 2008 Swale Film Festival with his first short film'Ill Fares The Land'. Since then, he has written and directed an array of short films which have gone on to screen at festivals across the world. Patrick will also be at the evening, in person. for a Q&A session.
