Sheerness Town Team "Seaside Festival Week"

Sat 12th August  -  "Free Music Saturday" 10am to 4pm in Sheerness Broadway. Headlined by USA Indie artist "Dan Sheehan" as part of his UK Tour.

Sat 12th August  -  "Sunset Seaside Stroll" in aid of Cancer research. Start time 8pm

Mon 13th August -  A chance to have a go at the Sheppey Sea Cadets "Virtual Ship Simulator". Book a 30minute slot between 9:30am & 4:30pm in return for a donation towards unit funds.

Tues 15th August  -  "Donkey Ride Fun Day" Donkey rides return to Sheerness after many years away. Just £2 per ride in Beachfields Park (By the Sandpit. We will be joined on the day by McDonalds & others providing other fun things to do.

Wed 16th August   -   "Spy Camp" at the Criterion Blutown 10:30am to 1:30pm. The chance to be a spy for the day. £8 per child.

Wed 16th August   -   "Clay Art" & "Scavanger Hunt" on the Beach (Details & Poster to follow)

Wed 16th August   -   "Five Beach Litter Pick" all 5 Sheerness beachs will be picked at the same time from 3pm to 5pm (Details & Poster to follow)

Thur 17th August   -   "Sea Theamed Poetry & Prose Open Mic Night" hosted by the Rumour Writers 7pm to 9pm at the Rumour Cafe 109 High Street, Sheerness. £3 entry.

Fri 18th August    -   Tradional "Punch & Judy" shows in Beachfield Green (By the Swimming Pool) from 11am To 4pm.  There will be lots of other stalls  to visit inbetween shows. Free to all.

Fri 18th August   -   Three films all about the famous "SS Richard Montgomery" the Liberty ship that lies just off the shore of Sheerness. Talk & Showing by Colin Harvey at The "Sheppey Little Theatre" from 7:30pm. Cost £5 payable on the door.

Sat 19th August   -   "Sheerness Carnival" the annual parade around the town. Heads out at 4pm. People wishing to take part should contact the Sheerness Town Team by email at sheernesstownteam@mail.com or via thier facebook page.

Sat 19th August   -   Fun Fair (All Day) & Fireworks at 9:30pm traditionally organised by the Holland Family.
