Ireland are beaten 2-1 by Belgium on their debut in the FIH Pro League in Dublin.
A pair of goals from the impressive Belgian forward Ambre Ballenghien put the world number 3 side in control of the game early in the second half.
However Ireland then produced their best hockey of the match creating a number of chances that they didn’t convert that could have seen them level in the game.
