Sittingbourne Sci-Fi Event

Following the success of last years Sittingbourne Scifi Event, the Swale Arts Forum are again initiating an invasion of the town with the High Street area becoming a Scifi and Fantasy Village. The 106.9 SFM Roadshow will be in the High Street and The James Waters Saturday Show will be LIVE from the event giving you a flavour of what's going on throughout the town too! Maps will be available to guide you through the props, stalls, sci-fi characters and fun! There will many special guests from Doctor Who, Star Wars and Harry Potter including Paul Redfern, Oilver Barry Brook, Peter Roy, Chris Parsons, Martin Ballantyne and Chris Bunn the original stormtrooper. There will also be Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, a T-Rex, a Giant Thunderbirds 3, a DeLorean, a 30 foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters and a Dalek. The Costume Procession starts at 4pm and there will be events in the Swallows Leisure Centre too, so get the family along for a great day out and May the fourteenth be with you!
