Description

Every Tuesday an enthusiastic band of volunteers meet by the container in the car park to assist the Park Ranger with a wide variety of tasks around the Park. These include tree and hedge planting, painting park furniture, coppicing, litter picking, pond clearing and assisting at the various events that the Friends and the Ranger run throughout the year. Whatever your age or physical ability there is something you can contribute.

For those who want to do more there are opportunities to train in the use of strimmers, hedge cutters or chainsaws.

If working out in the Park or helping at events is not for you the Friends would welcome anyone who could assist with various admin tasks like updating the website, designing posters or fundraising for our new major project to provide a community hub "Space in the Park". Email info@miltoncreek.co.uk for more information.

You can do as much or as little as you want. We are a very friendly bunch and everyone is made welcome to join us and have a laugh. Refreshment provided.
