Swale Film Society ‘Suffragette’ (12A)

The Swale Film Society proudly presents the 2015 film Suffragette. This screening is in partnership with the “Deeds Not Words” event, being held by the Sheppey Women’s Collective at the Hope Street Centre on Saturday 15th September. Set In 1912 London, the film Suffragette follows a young working mother who is galvanised into radical political activism supporting the right for women to vote, and is willing to meet violence with violence to achieve this end.
