The Historical Research Group Of Sittingbourne and the Sittingbourne Heritage Museum present an evening talk entitled 'Sheppey's Admiral' given by Daphne and Andrew Joyes. It covers the life and times of Sir William Parker who was born in Queenborough and was a close associate of the famous Captain James Cook. Entrance is £3.00 for non-members and £1.00 for members of the HRGS or SHM (proof of membership required).
