Peace Day Parade

The Historical Research Group of Sittingbourne procession will start from St Michael's Church heading up the High Street to Central Avenue eactly 100 years and 1 day after the original Peace Day event. The walk will include all 1162 names of local men and women who died in conflict (using 35 banners and 237 photos and a summary of their lives). Many of the 140 volunteers who have been involved in this seven year project will be there and the weather looks like it is going to be fabulous, so please get along and support the Peace Day Parade.
