Newington History Group is holding its Annual General Meeting alongside 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life', a talk by Sue Flipping, a funeral celebrant from Sittingbourne. Guests are welcome to attend for £3, but will not be able to vote. Newington History Group, which meets on the second Thursday of the month, is a society that seeks to unearth, preserve and promote the history of the village and neighbouring areas.
