The Hartleys Companie will be completing their Commission of Array for archers from Kent at the town of Faversham at 11:30 and 15:30 on the QE school field. Devil Stick Peat will be performing in the Market Place and back & forth to the medieval encampment and the competitive archery demonstration on the QE playing field, where there are also food & drink stalls and medieval recipes being cooked.

Between 10am and 4pm there will be a Great St Mary of Charity Pudding Tasting & Medieval Market. From 2.00pm until ‘sold out’ the Great St Mary of Charity Pudding Tasting Club, cost £4.00 - all proceeds to the church restoration fund.

The Faversham Raised Pie Competition at the church is open to all comers, professional and amateurs alike. The raised pie is a great British culinary tradition, one to be celebrated. Deliver pies to the church between 10am and 11.30am - results at 3.00pm in the church. The church café will be running, plus stalls in the church for local craft groups & individuals.

At the Abbey Physic Community Garden there will be medieval pottage served at lunchtime. The popular Teddy Bears’ Picnic, sponsored by Tesco, starts at 12.30pm. All proceeds to the garden. £3 per ticket - bring your teddy! Tickets on sale from the customer service desk in Tesco from 3rd September. Jazz from ‘JavaJam’ in the garden at 2pm.
