Borden Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on

Step into a winter wonderland as Borden's Christmas Tree is lit up on The Playstool on Saturday, 2 December 2017.

Listen to the Borden Bell Ringers ringing the church bells from 3pm, whilst enjoying a festive drink, mince pie, roasted chestnuts and other refreshments brought to you by the Borden Village Fete Committee. All proceeds raised will help to fund its 6th Anniversary fete planned for Saturday, 14 July 2018.

There will also be family games to enjoy and Father Christmas is set to pay a visit around 4:30pm.

From 5:30pm watch the Upchurch Hand Bell Ringers play a selection of festive favourites, and after the tree lights up at 6:30pm, join members of SS Peter and Paul's choir to sing a selection of Christmas carols.

Don't forget to pick-up your free raffle ticket for your chance to be the one who switches on the Christmas Tree lights and look out for the guaranteed snow.
