Description

The Woodland Wildlife Hidden History Project (WWHH) present the raising of The Meads Wood Henge daily between the 24th and the 30th October and they want everyone to get involved!

Canterbury Archaeological Trust (CAT) will be leading the work and need volunteers to help create the replica wood henge.

Make Your Mark! - on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October there will be a chance to ‘Make Your Mark' on the henge posts by working with a professional wood-carver. You can drop-in any time between 10am to 4pm.

Build a Henge! - on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th you can help to dig modern-day post holes and actually raise the posts for the 2016 Replica Meads Henge!

It's FREE Entry and is great fun for all the family. All children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult.
