CCTV Appeal Following Knife Assault In Milton Regis

Detectives have issued a CCTV image as part of an ongoing investigation into a knife assault in Milton Regis.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the assault, which happened in North Street on Thursday 20th July. The incident took place at around 12.10pm, when two people were seen chasing a man in the direction of the High Street. It is alleged one of them tackled the victim to the floor and stabbed him in a leg with a large knife. The suspects then fled the scene.

Kent Police officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Milton Regis last week.

At around 12.15pm on Thursday (20th July) Kent Police were called to a report of an assault in North Street. Officers attended and a man was taken to hospital with an injury consistent with a stab wound. He has since been discharged.

Two local men in their 20’s have since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They remain in custody while enquiries are ongoing.

Car Hits House On North Street, Milton Regis

North Street, in Milton Regis, was closed earlier today (Tuesday 24th January) in both directions at the junction with Milton High Street and Vicarage Road, following an incident where a car hit a house on Hawkins Close.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police told SFM News "[we] called at around 9.00am this morning after it was reported that a car had been involved in a collision with a house. Police officers and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene in North Street, Milton Regis."
